Updates on each project will be posted periodically as significant progress is made or increasingly information becomes available.  2018 park resurgence projects Sunrise park improvements - 9401 Bloomington Ferry Road Proposed improvements: Reconstruct the two tennis courts and one basketball magistrate Install new tennis magistrate fencing Install new basketball posts, backboards and rims Paint basketball magistrate lines Paint each tennis magistrate moreover with one Pickleball magistrate Install new bituminous trail outside magistrate zone Install picnic table Site Plan Sunrise Park The project plans are now out to bid to construction companies.  At the conclusion of the prompting process, Parks and Recreation staff will provide the City Council with a recommendation regarding the project, tentatively set for the April 16, 2018 City Council meeting.  If the project moves forward, then construction would most likely occur during the late spring and early summer. Sunrise cellular antennae project  9401 Bloomington Ferry Rd. May 2016 update: The project was completed! Verizon Wireless installed a new pole which co-located a cellular antennae with an outdoor emergency siren. A small equipment towers was synthetic on the when (south) side of the Sunrise Park building. The City and Verizon Wireless executed a lease try-on in September 2015 to facilitate the installation and ongoing operation.    Funding sources Funding for the Hyland-Bush-Anderson Lakes Regional Park Reserve comes from a variety of sources, including the State of Minnesota's Clean Water, Land & Legacy Amendment, and the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund.
