Planning staff will provide an overview of proposed changes to the industrial zoning lawmaking including:  an updated land use matrix, a zoning strategies map and proposed rezonings, and new or amended standards relating to self-storage buildings, exterior storage, breweries, and work/live units.  Questions and remoter discussion will be welcomed pursuit the presentation.  Please RSVP if you plan to shepherd by contacting the planning staff listed below. The City of Bloomington is undergoing a multi-year effort to update its Zoning Ordinance and related CityLawmakingprovisions. The current Zoning Ordinance was largely written in the 1950s and has, until recently, never been comprehensively updated. The overall project is divided into many smaller subprojects.  Each year, the City completes several subprojects.  As the update occurs, text is transitioned from Chapter 19 to Chapter 21 of the City Code. The pursuit projects are underway at this time: Recreational Vehicle Ordinance update As part of the 2018 Planning Commission Work Plan, the City will consider amendments to recreational vehicle storage standards and clearance processes.  Public Hearings for the ordinance are predictable for September 13th surpassing the Planning Commission and October 15th surpassing the City Council. Typhoonordinance -
